Thin cardboard cover with art printed onto it - not onto a slick - brown cardboard on inside cover. Originally came with folded poster insert.
Printed at bottom of back cover: "Publisher: TEMPO 2, 7275 Envoy Court, P. O. Box 47551, Dallas, Texas 75247"
Steve Tobolousky (Stephen Tobolowsky) later became an actor known for film roles such as annoying insurance agent Ned Ryerson in Groundhog Day and amnesiac Sammy Jankis in Memento
Steve Vaughan refers to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Confirmed by photo on poster (SRV is sitting in a chair). Stephen Tobolowsky confirms this on an interview with Music Life Radio (youtube) where he probably mistakenly refers to Stevie Ray Vaughan as 14... my calendar math if the recording was done in 1971 tells me Stevie Ray Vaughan was 16 or 17 years old.
Text on the back of each band says...
"THE MINT - The Mint has played at S.M.U., Texas Tech and North Texas State to name a few. Both songs are original. The ages range from 15 to 17"
"CAST OF THOUSANDS - Maybe You heard Cast Of Thousands at the Shamrock Hilton in Houston or Diamond Jim's in St. Paul, Minnesota. They were there. Ranging in age from 16 to 19. Cast of Thousands write all their music."
"IMAGE - The last song on Side 1 and the first on Side 2 are performed by Image. You'll agree it is a good way to end one side and start another."
"STONE SYPHER - Stone Sypher has played at Sunset High School, Hill Junior College, The Loft and The Flare. The group has been together for ten months."
"BLUE PERSUASION - Blue Persuasion has played together for two years in such places as Rose Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Memorial Auditorium, Coffeyville, Kansas, Lincoln High School, and Operation Soul on Channel 11. Both songs are original.
